Crescent Shell Lounge Chair

The Crescent Shell Lounge Chair is one of those modern lounge chairs for living room corners that quietly settles into a room. A single curved shell rises at both ends like a half moon, and a deep plush cushion rests inside it, with soft rolled sides that hold you in. There are no sharp corners and no fussy detail, only one calm shape in the spirit of Nordic minimalism. Set it by a window as a cozy living room chair, beside a sofa as a modern lounge accent chair, or in a quiet corner as a cozy reading nook chair with a small table and a lamp close by. It suits a bedroom just as well, deep and soft enough to stay a while with a book.

The frame is plastic, the seat is cushioned, and the chair needs assembly. It does not fold and its height does not adjust. It comes with its plush cushions. The shipping package measures 70 by 70 by 70 cm and weighs 21 kg, about 46 lb. Among curved living room chairs it keeps a quiet profile, which makes it a cozy chair for reading by day and a calm lounge chair for bedroom evenings after dark. The form is minimalist, so it sits easily with wood, stone and linen, and with warm or pale walls alike. Add a rug, a lamp and a side table and the corner is finished.
